In a 1965 Boston Globe article, Mary Meier wrote: "For one magic hour Thursday 50 children – who have never in their lives been able to run or skip – sprouted wings and flew. Fifth through twelfth grade pupils of the Industrial School for Crippled Children were guests of Eastern Airlines on a chartered flight that toured eastern Massachusetts from Ipswich to Provincetown."

Rex Trailer, Country and Western Recording Artist and host of the children’s television show, Boomtown, joined the group as a tour guide.
